I noticed that too. None of the customary face saving. We are left to speculate. Did he quit, due to the (for a technology officer) boring nature of the new business they are in? Did he develop a pissing contest with DY? Did he actually get fired? Does he think the company is doomed? Did he just have a great new product idea and go elsewhere to develop it rather than give it to Inprise, not staying as long as promised, thus pissing off the management? Get into some other trouble?

I'd like to know these things.
