'The most compelling driver behind changes in PT products right now is not a federal regulatory push, but Year 2000 (Y2K) compliance. For instance, Kaman Industrial's director of marketing, David Mayer, says that customers and suppliers must evaluate embedded technology in products such as machine tools.

Ron,

You have touched on a crucial point. If Jenkins delivers the kind of abysmal performance on CNBC that TAVA management delivered over the Internet at the last conference call..............draw your own conclusions. One must only hope that perhaps before the recent 'tour' they got a pro in who honed presentational skills, etc. If so, Mr. Jenkins has been in front of the video camera getting it together. Television is a medium of illusion and must be approached with forethought. In the case of CNBC, it's a snakepit. There are several interviewers and they can even comment after he disappears, if only with a facial expression. It's not to be taken too lightly ie., without rehearsal.

This, too, is good management, 90's-style.

Cheers,
Bond

For the purposes of the CNBC appearance, he need only make clear that:
The relationship fostered by assessment and remediation of embedded chip problems is particularly close, and very conducive to a continuation of that relationship, especially in view of TAVA's established position in its core , non-Y2K business.
Period. Over-technical does not play well in 4-5 minute bites.
