Politics, and the recollection of past military confrontation
are non sequitur to supporting one's soccer team at the World Cup.

Unfortunately, many people do not understand that they can be a
representation of the country which they support.

I am confident that there are many English who do not share
"purething's" outlook.

I had friends on both sides.
Although my English friend was injured, he held no animosity
towards Argentina.

Shame on "purething"!!!

Agreed on the fanimal thing however the real reason Maggie Thatcher Milk Snatcher sent troops to the Falklands was to secure the oil ( as yet not drillable ) that is beneath the teratorial waters of the Falklands.

As for the rest of your diatribe it was not exuberance but stooping to his level.
