YIC is acronym for "Yucaipa Investment Club" which is just friends, family, friends of family and family of friends who own REFR long term.

Re: licensees investing in REFR. I don't know that this is NOT the case. We don't even know who the goop suppliers are at this time due to the proprietary nature of the technology and its imminent debut in the marketplace. I do however know that Hankuk, Orcolite, and MSC have made large monetary commitments toward laying the groundwork for a variety of products to come to the market. This figure is much larger than 5% stake in company. Also I am not aware if there is anything in the license agreement that precludes them from owning more than a certain percentage. I know that they did not want to sell company to GE and perhaps they took precautionary measures in subsequent licensing agreements.

I'm new to this board, but have a question on the SPD technology. Has REFR or one of their customers run life tests on these windows? My understanding one of the big hurdles to get product like this is to get it to last. (sealing,uv, environments, etc. Has the development progressed to where there is good data on life type considerations? Can someone with some background on REFR give me some help?
Many thanks
