Robert,

What do you consider the main things Christians should do? It is my impression that the list would be something like the following. In no particular order:
1. Believe in the resurrection of Jesus.
2. Believe that Jesus is the way to the Kingdom of God.
3. Be compassionate to one's fellow men.
4. Renounce concerns over material possessions and other attachments of the ego; i.e., give oneself over entirely to Jesus.
5. Preach the Word to others.
6. Be cautious of spiritual materialism whereby the quest for Christian credentials (I did this or that Christian deed or was ordained this or that rank in the Church) overshadows "being" Christian.
7. Honour all people and know that in the Father's house there are many mansions.
8. Seek to understand the Scriptures more by searching for and studying data, information, and knowledge.

Greg

<<I believe that Emile is despised and reviled by many on this thread
because he is a faithful servant of the Most High God in his presentation of the pure Gospel.>>

You are so completely wrong!! Emile is despised and reviled by decent people everywhere because of his well-known white supremacist and anti-Semitic views, including denying that the Holocaust occurred. If you believe he is serving God in any way then I would have to assume you are equally demented. There is real evil in the world, and people like Emile are its embodiment. That they are serving God is an absurd delusion, and is offensive to any real Christian.

Robert,

I use the New American Standard and it is translated directly from the original Greek and Hebrew. The Lockman Foundation states that the translation is true to the original Hebrew and Greek. That it shall be grammatically correct, it shall be understandable to the masses, and it shall give the Lord Jesus Christ His proper place.
