Of course, there is a lot of cross breeding going on right now, and some of the folks I spoke with sounded more like typical CSCO engineers and marketing types than traditional bellheads. Frank: First off, thanks for your great posts on the threads I follow (QWST, CSCO, LU). Now, regarding your above comments. Were you talking with engineers or managers? I would assume engineers. The problem with a lot of big companies might not necessarily stem from the engineering, but rather from beaurocratic (sp?) upper management. It is just something to think about. I have a feeling that CSCO's upper management is a lot less stiff-collared then ol' Bell. Just something to think about. In any case, it looks like I have a little of both convergence winners (CSCO, LU). This is going to get interesting in the next year.... Regards, JRH
