Barb you're absolutely right about the ECN being of importance NOW. The possibility of a fast start-up capturing market share away from the MM's is a great thing and SHOULD be brought to bear quickly. There are a few ECN's in place already and last year (1997) accounted for 10% of the Nasdaq volume. That was last year! The videophones another piece of a (IMO) very well divested company.
