juanita, i agree that the use of the internet represents a paradigm shift in many areas. some will not get this, but then some scoffed at horseless carriages too. no one could possibly measure the impact of this "world connectivity" on our everyday lives. i believe that those who continually look at the financial assessment of these upstarts as their overriding measure of value are missing the picture, which is why many can point to 'facts' and still not fully see the value of the investment. measuring the potential of a new business in a new industry in a new era of technology is the challenge. and that, imho, will not fit anyone's current analysis model. gary

Jaunita, And I suppose that extorting money out of tobaccao companies, exactly how the mafia used to do in the old days, is an example of how far our government has evolved. What happened to freedom in this country? Why and by what right does the US government have to pass laws to protect you from yourself? I am a descendent of the Cherokees that did not leave East Tennessee for the "Trail of Tears" and they have prospered well because they did NOT trust the US government. THe US government is still selling the Indians on the reservations down the river to this day. Nothing has changed other than the fact that now they have become dependent on the motivationally destructive socialist programs that our government has supplied them with. The American people neeed to WAKE UP and pay attention to what is REALLY going on out there. They need to quit selling freedoms for soap boxes and false security. Once those freedoms are gone you will not get them back without bloodshed. Hraka PS-I will not continue to preach. I apologize to all on this thread for venting.
