I know , I've seen it happen also. I was just pointing out the duplicity of that bunch at Datek/Island.

This has probably been discussed here but I've never seen it nor posted here. The last 2 orders I've place (NASD stocks) have been filled piecemeal. For example, I sold 500 shares a couple of weeks ago and it sold off as 45, 245, 200. Is this typical? Does this happen all the time and I've never seen it using a broker?

Also, is trading a NYSE stock a problem with DATEK? Have no reason to think it would be but wanted to know what other's experience is.
