Why get rid of just bashers? Why not get rid of hypsters as well? These guys are more dangerous to the average investor. There are more people perpetrating pump and dump schemes on stocks that are hot air than bashers. I only post on threads of stocks I own and do not short. I have seen plenty of bashers. I have no problem with them. If a stock has sound fundamentals it is easy to handle their challenge. The complaint that they are asking questions their are too lazy to research themselves is generally made by people's who's own idea of due diligence is having faith. If you've done research on a stock bashers are easy to handle and by answering them you strengthen the case for the investment. Hypesters on the other hand are much more dangerous. They suck lots of people into dumb investments with fairy tales about 100 fold increase.And then when the air comes out of the fantasy they distract the gullible with tales of evil short sellers who have bashed the stock. Why do you not see more people rail against these hype machines? They are more widespread and dangerous than the bashers. Use the basher as an opportunity to refute their argument and lay out the case for the investment. Non specific countercharges that bashers are too lazy to do their own research and have malicious motives are generally a good sign that there is a bit of hot air involved. And if you can knock down the bashers by specifically refuting their charge with facts then you know you have an equity with a chance.

<I think SI should get rid of ALL bashers. Especially ones that only post on ONE thread. I mean come on!!!!!!! Why would they pay $125 just to bash a stock in which they have no interest in??? The must work for MMs or they are probably shorters. HELP ME EVERYONE!!! TELL SI TO GET RID OF BASHERS!> LIST... ok here's mine: You folks are just plain suspicious, and I nor anyone else here are NOT obligated to get into an argument as to our reasons. I read your posts with 'filters' for lack of a better word. I ask myself a question for every post I read: "what purpose does that person have for being here or posting that" Honest enthusiasm or suspicious negativism/insulting/disruption/spread confusion/pick fights/ You folks are easy to pick out. I don't think SI should get rid of anybody, but should allow us to use an "Ignore" feature. Until then I use my own 'filter' It is really amazing to see all this human nature in full bloom though. Money really brings out the best in us doesn't it?
