REPLY TO HENRY WHO SAID...<Why get rid of just bashers? Why not get rid of hypsters as well? These guys are more dangerous to the average investor. There are more people perpetrating pump and dump schemes on stocks that are hot air than bashers.>

Agreed hypesters are dangerous, but you NEVE HAVE TO BUY a stock, do you? Many of us learned the dangers of taking part in "pump and dump" stocks but we never HAD to buy! It was our choice.

HOWEVER, the anger we have with bashers and manipulative MM's is that they are affecting stocks, many of which are very good stocks...

that WE ALREADY OWN!!!!

Big difference here. They come in after we already own a stock! Say, you do hours and days of DD. You get lots of long term investors in a stock. You see lots of buying coming in, (which was the case in both MTEI and SGNC a week or so ago) and the stock does not move one bit; oin fact it goes down 20% for the day!

BUYS OUTNUMBER SELLS 3 to 1 and the stock price goes down! Blatant manipulation...has happened in DGIV, TGSK, ALYA, TPII, and tons of others.

<I only post on threads of stocks I own and do not short. I have seen plenty of bashers. I have no problem with them. If a stock has sound fundamentals it is easy to handle their challenge.>

Good for you, Henry. You have good ethics, but I wholeheartedly disagree with you on a sound stock being safe on it's own merits. 90% of all stocks I track, many over a $1.00 and sound companies are trading down 20-60% in the last 4 weeks. Some of the best companies tanked only when the Stock Detective or other bashers came in came in:

DCHT down from $8.00 to $3.00
DGIV down from $8.00 to $2.5 before recovering a bit
ICVI down from $2.00 to .33 before recovering a bit.
NUKE down from $1.38 to .59 before recovering a bit.

YOu get the idea. Innuendo, especially clever creation of fear and doubt that is constant and has a malicious intent to tank a stock is what we hate. It is already an uneven playing field on the BB: OTC.

WIth most BB stocks MM's forcing us to pay much more on the ASK than the BID, we already start off in the hole, so when we do great DD and intend to own a componay long term, it is unjust to have to fight all these negative elements....unjust and infuriating.

But many have not learned, yet! Go to the AENG thread (#Subject-19510 or at #reply-4570576) and decide if it is a worthless pump and dump or a future GM. What is a basher? Does it included a hypster who bashes a poster revealing a danger signal like lousy product or insider selling?
