first of all droogies.... the one way to gaurantee you've lost a debate is to resort to blatant personal attacks. actually i thought i would see it much sooner. if this were the liberals unite thread id be a racist, religious, tyrannical zeolot by now im sure. it is interesting im just trying to find common ground and state my opinion, which is all it is, my opinion. sometimes we will agree, apparently we just picked a tough first subject. im willing to be swayed on matters if enough proof and justification is offered, wont happen often. 'do i want to live in a country where gum chewing is outlawed'. no. and i also cant relate the destructiveness of gum and drugs. your statement, 'a decrease in the supply of drugs, an increase in petty crime. my inference to your statement, 'than an increase in the supply of drugs would be a decrease in petty crime?' your statement 'thats the most twisted logic ive ever heard' thats why i asked if it was fair to make that inference, i was trying to follow your logic. if it was indeed twisted, than my apologies. nothing more to add. being from ny city you realize mr guilianis and mr crews strategy was to go after all the petty criminals and create a domino effect upwards. do you think its been successful? might help to explain why you feel a bit safer in that movie theatre today. thanks for the reference to ee cummings, he was a great writer, but who cares about the syntax of things. its been a privilege, i state again i respectfully disagree on this particular subject and i am not here to cause animosity. poet.
