Thanks JB You understand completely! Yes I get a lot of flack. I get even more because I am a teacher and most of my co workers, although we are cordial and polite, violently disagree with me. (They still vote for me when I run for office though, on the LP ticket of course, because they like to vote for someone they know.At least so they say.) Flack is ok. What is not ok is that, as you pointed out, we are losing our individual rights. And, as far as I am concerned, that is all that really matters in life. If we cannot live life our own way, what else is there? I think its wonderful that Ayn Rand was female and that her book Atlas Shrugged has affected more people than anyother but the Bible (according to a recent poll). I do however think its unusual. That doesnt make it impossible. After all I am a clear thinker and a female.(VVVVBG) I want to post this: Its from Investors Business Daily. I dont have a scanner so I'll type it in. High Court Strikes Down, For First Time, Federal Fine. For the first time!!!!!!! The supreme court ruled 5-4 that forfeitures intended as punishment cannot be grossly disproportional to the crime. The case involved a California businessman who was forced to forfeit $357,000 he tried to take out of the U.S. because he didnt file the proper report ! (Bold is mine). A federal law requires that anyone who moves more than $10,000 in cash out of the u>S. report it to the Treasury Department. Look at the implications here. The ruling was 5 to 4 not 9 to 0, a crime in itself. We have a law that you have to file a form to take your own cash out of the country. Thats a free country?????? And look at the enormity of what the California court did to this man. We live under tyranny, as I said before. I hope its never my turn. Freeus
