Ken,
Assuming Scandisk didn't find a problem, defrag apparently moved something it shouldn't have.

Only takes a minute to re-install QP. That will screw up the Display settings, but you can save them from regedit -- find
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Quotes Plus\Display Charts\Initial, export that branch, then import it after the re-install.

Run the clearinitial.exe program from the quotes plus program directory.

That may clear up the problem
