I received an e-mail from John on Saturday.

I had sent him a short note on Friday, no questions, just introducing myself and offering understanding about how busy he must be. In it I mentioned this thread and invited John to pay a visit. Told him about the odd gathering of investors and suggested that if nothing else it might give him a chuckle or two.

I mentioned my particular interest in the AWS product, and mentioned that some of the investors on this site might also be interested in becoming customers as well. I told him I knew he was busy and I did not expect him to take time to answer.

Anyway, he decided to take the time to answer. Thanked me for my positive comments, said that he had high expectations for AWS, that it would be operational and linked to the main page shortly.

He also said that he was interested in this thread and would instruct one of the employees to MONITOR IT CONTINUOSLY. So what say we start being on our best behavior. We don't want the company and the investing world to view us as a bunch of bafoons.

I would think that with a few exceptions most of us are only risking a few hundred, maybe a couple thousand dollars on this venture. From the way some people are acting you would think that their entire future hinged on the turnings of this company. Come on.

I think back as a child, being given pennies to throw in the wishing well. That is what pennies are for, wishing. Sometimes wishes do come true. But I would not throw a significant portion of my money in the well. My future is in Blue Chips, my wishes are in pennies.

Good luck to all of us.

Dirtroad
