While I agree with freeus' statements, I have to say that the anger Barbara felt from the charge of overgeneralization is real and valid. Why shouldn't she be angry? Nobody wants to be marginalized or compartmentalized. Problem with this world is that doing so sometimes EXPLAINS a great deal more than we want it to. Nobody said that the overgeneralization explained EVERYTHING about women and libertarianism...just ALOT about it. I think Barbara could have been a little less angry in her comments...but her anger was a justified overreaction.
