Ms. Payne:

SPRX has a market for the BiliCheck, while at the same time Mr. Asensio claims that there is no market for such devices. Both the claims cannot be true.

Can you explain the discrepancy. When I called Mr. Asensio, he had no comment on that.

Nick

<<Why do you suppose that CCSI has generated little revenue despite the fact that has this approval?>>

From the most recent 10K:

The Company believes that selectively establishing strategic relationships with leading medical companies who have established themselves in the medical community for the development, introduction, commercialization and distribution of its products is the appropriate method to begin its efforts in penetrating the medical market......

From a news article 6/8/98:

"As previously publicly disclosed, the Company continues to be engaged in late stage negotiations with potential manufacturing and distribution partners. The Company anticipates being able to make an announcement on the outcome of those negotiations shortly....."

And let's not forget, Barbara, I believe several here have stated that approximately two-thirds of the worldwide market is outside of the United States and SPRX is shipping RIGHT NOW to these. SPRX will get the other third once the FDA approval is obtained and while CCSI continues to work on the best deal they can get for their stockholders.

Remember, whoever puts these units in the hands of the doctor's first gets that portion of the disposable income. You can't get market share on the disposables easily if the market has already been saturated with a competitor's product! SPRX is already going after the first 66%, while CCSI waits at the gate!
