im not trying to ignore anything relevent so let me try to address your post. you said youve never seen any indication of the social impact i refer too. than go on to mention foster homes, prison, and crime rates. after mentioning that, if you dont see any social impact of rampant drug use in our society today, anything i say is futile.
i ignored the pursuit of happiness thing.
its not drug users and criminals happiness im concerned with, it is the pursuit of mine and all other law abiding citizens happiness and i feel that is heavily deterred by the actions of the folks mentioned above. this is clearly where we disagree by the way. you dont think drug use effects yourself, your family, or your community if its not you directly abusing the substance. i disagree, i feel my safety and the well being of my family and neighbors are put a certain degree of risk by this reckless behavior. THIS IS OUR DIFFERENCE, this is our whole difference, and this is why we will continue to agree to disagree. but whats wrong with some disagreements? as far as alcohol and tobacco, they are legal, im not sure where you are going with that. and prohibition had so much more to do with things other than alcohol i cant even begin to run with that, ill just say i know the point your trying to make and point taken. i just cant make a justifiable connection, too many other variables. thanks again for the response. poet.
