TM's shares held, according to the TSE bulletin as set forth in my post #5362 is 4,974,000 directly, and the rest indirectly for a total of 40,313,808. Am I missing something here? I agree the 500,000 is still "chicken feed", for him and the market.

It (insider selling) effects investor confidence. And it does not matter to many investors how many shares, just the action speaks volumes. The shorts use it to amp the situation and the stock gets held down near term.
