Brian, you have every right not to own a handgun. A few of my neighbors hunt deer with handguns, they must be much better hunters to be successful with a sidearm compared to long guns. Some affluent townships near me ban hunting deer, but have the deer killing people in auto accidents, some control is necessary. Ban cars? Return wolves? I don't hunt because I don't want to kill animals, but wouldn't hesitate in a second to use my handgun to protect myself or others from physical harm. The intent of using deadly physical force is to stop an attack of deadly physical force, not to kill people.

Brian,

I would like to suggest that you do a little investigation on your own. Those animals wouldn't even be there if it wasn't for people like me. We are the ones that preserve the beautiful things in life and prevent the continuous destruction by people that want to always develop the land with no regard for anything but money. We are the preservers of freedom and the ones that face crime head on. You need to educate yourself a little more IMO. You have obviously led a very sheltered life and are very naive to the real world. I would like to suggest that next saturday night you take a drive down to Philadelphia after it gets dark. Go and walk around some of the neighborhoods that are very close to where liberty square is and meet some of the people that live there. I am sure that they will be able to explain a few facts of life to you much better than I possibly could. Let me know what you learn when you get back.
