Don't recommend handguns for defense of the home. Well selected shotgun is more effective, won't penetrate a wall and risk lives on the other side. Hope I never have to use mine.

Duh! I hate illogical arguments.

Using deadly physical force will result in death.
I think I get your point, but don't ignore the fact that the design aim a gun and it's usage is to kill. Don't try to sanitize the situation.
