Just for clarification, Waterhouse charges the same commission for market and limit orders. I believe the other post was referring to another company (Discover Direct???).

Webbroker does need improvement--too slow, sometimes down, and often does not show my trading history or balances.

<<I didn't know they charged more for limit orders >>

waterhouse charges the same price($12) for both market orders and limit orders...i was referring to discover brokerage(or whatever they call it now), who charges $5 more for a limit order...waterhouse's prices are ok, it's the slowness of their system that's often the pits
