What I find real interesting is that there has been NO real large institutional selling today or in the last month. In fact, I believe that institutional holdings has increased over the last month or two from the low 40% range to over 50% today. Go figure.

>>> BARS lowers estimates on HMTT... Are you sitting down? - JunQ: was $0.29, is $0.02... <<<

Puppet, Well now that I've had a chance to review the HMT news in detail and plug the information in to my sophisticated analysis model, my revised June EPS estimate is, uhhh 2 CENTS! <ggg>

Seriously, I think the key indicator in estimating the June quarter was the statement that HMT would remain profitable. This says to me that EPS should come in just slightly above break-even.

Thanks for keeping my optimism in check.

Regards - Dale

My estimate for Q1 earnings is 2-4 cents. Gross margin between 18-20%. Drop due primarily to depreciation as percent of sales.

Well, at least this will finally slow the capital expansion plans for a while. Will have to see what happens to demand from here. I heard a report that computer sales in Indonesia are down about 75%. And in Nike's earnings report today, new orders to Asia are down over 50%.

Who gives a flying flip what the ANAL-ysts say. With these kind of stocks they are so clueless. When things are good, their numbers go thru the roof, when things are bad, my god, look out. Basically, they take a ruler and, using a couple of data points, draw a straight line. If the slope between the two points is positive, holy cow, this company will make billions, if negative, the world is ending. Talk about no brains, no pain.
