Appreciate it Joe. Maybe we just need to call Molly! I'm sure we can locate her #. :o)

Regarding the issue of Molly Cade donating her shares to Charity, there are several factors that may prevent her from doing so:
1. Her "charity" may not qualify for a deduction. Examples are political organizations that lobby for a cause and foreign organizations.
2. If the donated amount exceeds 20% of her AGI, the deduction is limited.
3. She may have alternative minimum tax considerations.
4. Her income may be high enough that up to 80% of her itemized deductions are phased out. For most tax payers this phase out begins at AGI of 124,500(in 1997). If so, getting a larger charitable deduction by donating the stock doesn't do her much good.

The point is probably moot anyhow because it is very likely the charity would sell the stock immediately to fund their operations.
This would put the same selling pressure on the stock.

Hope this helps.
