Zurdo your assessment if correct gives you and other small investor an advantage by ignoring the rectoric and buying PFE or other stocks that are so blatantly manipulated. I for one have not added to my position but I will do so if the price drops tomorrow. That being said I can't help but wonder if the price weakness is based on the Rx numbers that must have been released yesterday, but are not being reported by the usual news sources (i.e. Bloomberg, Reuters,, etc...). Hope I'm wrong.

>>For instance, DLJ probably has a big institutional client that
wants to unload large numbers of WLA stock and pick up PFE for a song before earnings are announced....There is no sincerity or honesty, in my opinion, in their "analysis"... They are pimps
for their institutional clients...DLJ and others like them are given far more credibility and respect than they deserve...<<

Exactly, and well said. DLJ and like firms use the power of communication through internet and CNBC to broadcast their "recommendations". As individual investors we should not get sucked in. There is no reason for these firms to provide their recommendations free to the public. And when they do, invariably, they have a agenda to behave contrary to their public statements.

I notice DLJ is especially notorious for their frequent broadcasting of "recommendations" to the world at large. Because they're licenced as investment advisors they are legally allow to make investment recommendations. There should be a law against disseminating investment recommendation in bad faith.
