I'm really getting suspicious now. Check out the volume in the July 17.5 and July 20 call options.

July 17.5 calls 1190 contracts
July 20.0 calls 1064 contracts

Only a total of 28 put options have traded in VLSI today covering every series available.

Couple this with a strong stock and a weak SOX and I'm suspicious.

Hmm...

Well, I certainly ain't going to continue this stupid debate. How about something more useful:

Excerpt from Lehman Brothers Report -

4) ONE MORE POSITIVE DATAPOINT: OUR WEST COAST ANALYST DAN MEYERS TELLS US ORDERS AT VLSI HAVE MOVED FROM AWFUL TO OK. That may be a thin reed on which to rest a case that industry orders have improved in late June, but it does add one more datapoint.

Whole report is at:

Clark

PS Watch out, they use a technical term - 'datapoint'. And they aren't even engineers. They must be brilliant.
