Dan - On what do you base the assumption that the writers of options are smarter than the buyers? Not disputing it, but I'd like to know how it is that you make that assumption.

Hi Dan, I won't mind if the price rises enough to take out those calls at $20, but need a bit more to fill my open order to sell a small portion of my holding. I now own about 20% more shares than at any previous time. I won't be able to sell calls against my position for some time. I first have to rebuild my Cash Reserve profitably.

Someone probly wrote the one and bought the other @1000 contracts each. If someone knew something really inside they'd have bought the 20s or the 17.5's and not both and certainly would not sell either one.
