Couldn't have said it better myself. ALYA's position is certainly unique in the security industry, where the need for Y2k compliant products is beginning to assert itself. Sorry I overlooked TBTI in my research -- I guess it was too new to come up in the list I was using. Worth noting also that TBTI's product is not competitive with ALYA. Whatever you think about TBTI, the fact that their (different purpose) implementation is only emerging now reinforces your point about ALYA's 1-1/2 to 2 year lead time in the security industry.
