Of course I am not speechless<g>

You must wonder if Beckham did not get a red card England could have won the game because they would get the ball to Owen MUCH more and this kid is the REAL thing! The fact is Argentina could not score on England's 10 men for over an hour of play!!!For this alone, England should have won.....But this is not to say that Argentina did not deserve to win. To me soccer won today, no doubt about it!

I thought Seaman would do better on PK's.

Hoddle made two stupid and costly substitutions. Sermon probably left his own shoes back in England. Butt came on for the PK and missed it.

Crespo was a mistake. Why did Pasarela bring him in for Batistuta?

Correct call PK for Argentina. Incorrect call PK for England.

GOLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZO BY Owen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ortega won me over today Dexter.

As a matter of fact Argentina won me over today Dexter. I have deleted 1990's memories from my RAM. But still like Brazil. If Argentina gets over the Dutch and somehow meets Brazil in the final I 'll be scared.

Now it is really tough to play another super game like this again with the Dutch while accumulating yellows (and possibly reds)when Brazil barely breaks a sweat against Chile and Denmark.

My vision of Campbell scoring and England winning 3-2 was reality for a moment!!!!!!Then it was oh sh**, run back, run back.

It is just a pity that these two team had to meet so early in the WC, such a pity.

BRAVO AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

George

Thank you. This game could have gone either way. I think Holland is going to be easier than England for Argentina, but you never know.

I most say Owen was good. He is going to be only 22 for Japan-Korea 2002 World Cup.
