George...This was the best match so far...

A lot of credit goes to both teams (none to the referee)

Beckham did not deserve the red card after he was pushed down
and then received a knee in his back. In response, I saw intent but no, or little, contact from Beckham. A yellow card would have been sufficient. Campbell scored what should have been the winning goal.
No foul on Shearer.

The referee decided much of the complexion of this game.
The red card changed the dimension of the game which would have been even more exciting.

For Argentina this must be a bitter sweet victory.

What promised to be one of the most exciting games of WC's was
changed by the referee. It became a valiant effort for both teams.

Congratulations to both teams...the best teams don't always
move to the next rounds.
