Just a note on the Korean producers and their competition...I don't think they have to worry too much about U.S. competitors, they should worry particularly about the Taiwanese, who are continuing to ramp up DRAM production as I write, with the distinct goal of gaining significant market share from the Koreans (the ol' 'kick them while they're down' idea. I wouldn't feel real sorry for the Koreans, however, this is the very same tactic used by the Koreans years ago to corner a big chunk of the DRAM market.
