VLAD <<I already wrote a letter, made a phone call and did an e-mail weeks ago. I suggest those of you who have done nothing take some time and be heard by YOUR government agency that is supposed to protect YOUR health and well being.>> Vlad: Several questions for you to help enlighten VVUSers and lurkers on your investing strategies, ethics, and investment success: -Did you disclose in your letter, email and phone call that you would benefit financially from any FDA action that would adversely effect Viagra? If the answer is no, how can you justify complaining about manipulators such as shorts and market makers? -During the greatest bull market in history, have you concluded that your very best investment idea is VVUS? -How has your YTD VVUS portfolio performed (%s only)? Do you base your purchasing decisions on price or value? Have you ever doubled down on VVUS because the price was so attractive. If yes, what was this price level? -If you had $100,000 to invest, would you give it to Leland Wilson to manage? If the answer is no, why should any institutional investor feel differently? -Can you name any pharmaceutical product that has ever lost more than 70% of its specification and then recovered to regain its previous level? -Since the launch of Viagra, the ED market has expanded by 16 times and total MUSE Rxs have declined for 12 consecutive weeks, what happened to the positive Viagra "coattail effect". -Given the recent MUSE specification trends, how would evaluate the success of the MUSE "Impotence is Optional" campaign and the "Rent a Rep" expenditures? -HMOs such as Kaiser will no longer reimburse for any ED product, what effect will this have on MUSE? -What is the level of monthly MUSE Rxs needed for VVUS to remain a viable company? -Most Big Pharma companies will not even consider launching a new product that does not bring in $250 million per year. Why would any company ever consider purchasing VVUS with a peak sales year of only $120 Million and currently forecasting declining sales? -Assume that Viagra remains on the market and is launched internationally in late 1998, what do you see as the future of VVUS? -If a percentage of Viagra patients die solely from the physical exertion related to sexual activity, why wouldn't a similar percentage of MUSE also die from this increased physical activity...particularly since MUSE patients may be suffering from more severe cases of ED and possibly more chronic severe disorders? -Will there ever be a time when you would concede that you made a bad investment and sell VVUS? If yes, what are the milestones and parameters for this sell decision? -Do you think that every investor that does not think VVUS is a good investment is "shorting the stock"? I look forward to your responses. Good investing! BigKNY3
