W, <<Gee Richard, just how did I rattle your cage?>> You probably started rattling his cage by insulting me instead of having an intellectual discussion. I realize this is an emotional subject but your posts have seemed very rash in nature. Yes I advocate formal training. I also advocate that everyone should perform a limit amount of time in service to their country. Military or otherwise. Formal defensive training in hand to hand combat as well as firearms training would go a far way in stopping the crime problem IMO. People have suggested a 12 month school year before, well what if 3 of those months went into teaching such things. It would be in line with the second amendment by providing for the security of a free state. It might cut down on some of these stock scams as well.
