continuing... hey August, the Gita (specifically, translation and commentary by Sankara)is my second most favorite book in existence. It is inexhaustible and exhausting. Basically not worth the time and trouble given the vagaries of modern life. Our fragmented and specialized minds (hearts) tend to lack the singlemindedness and wholesomeness traditionally required to mount such a study. Or I suppose one could also approach it as an academic task (such a pity though). Good luck in your endeavors.

Good Evening August,

No, you are not alone this evening... And it is good of you to drop by to visit on this thread.

I must say that I have not read the Gita but know of it. I shall look for it on-line to do some "exploring" when I have a little more time.

"Stranger in a Strange Land"... you haven't read it before? Hmmmmmm... then you must be younger than I... ;-}

Good Night,
Croc
