There's some movement right now on the marketing front for ISDN: since late last week, their Web site has been offline and, in its place, we get the home page for Ad-vantagenet. I called Ad-vantagenet and was told an upgrade to ISDN's site is on the way. No specifics on timing or new content. . . . But it's the first overhaul since 1996 and so obviously is long overdue and much welcomed. (The bad news is that Ad-vantagenet is handling the upgrade -- same company that is doing the development work on the On-line Entertainment Network.) The URL is globalnet1.net. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the selling pressure has come from the fact that Ad-vantagenet's home page appears at ISDN's domain. It certainly took me by surprise, and I was relieved to learn there had not been a merger or any such thing. Any new marketing/PR push has to refocus attention away from OEN and onto the other products and services ISDN offers. Right now, ISDN looks like a one-horse company, and they did some major damage by releasing OEN prematurely. OEN will be brought up to speed, but it will take time to do that and build investor confidence around it. They need to tell the world what else they're doing with their technologies: telephony, conferencing. They have exciting stuff in the works; but nobody knows about it, and that hurts. One thing on the upside for OEN: I've done a little background on Radio Spirits (the company that will be providing radio dramas for OEN) and think that's a partnership with terrific potential. Check out their company profile page: radiospirits.com I've been intending to call Radio Spirits to see what I can learn about their goals with OEN, timeframe, etc., but haven't had time. There's a loyal market for their product, though, and should be a tremendous opportunity for OEN. Glad to see you all sticking in with ISDN. Hard to be patient when there are so many Internet stocks soaring through the roof.
