Raymond,
Now you are pulling verses out of the bible and placing them out of context which is dangerous for true understanding but constantly done. In the verse of Matthew that you use, read from 21 through 28 and then look at it. This is part of a lesson he was teaching the Canaanite woman about faith!!

If you know how the Gospel worked you would know that yes, the message was to be brought to the Jews first and then to the Gentiles but it was for all. You write that Jesus never said he was sent to all mankind. As well, you are looking for words said by Jesus himself for proof of this and yet you are missing the point as many do. Believe in the prophets, believe in what Paul teaches us in his many wonderful letters and believe that Christ died for all. don't spend time picking away at one verse thrown out of context into an argument.

I said,
"You must believe this, because Jesus said it! You are supposed to believe in God and Jesus as you said above!

You said,
"We've already addressed this verse. He was speaking to the Jews"

My comments:
Jesus was also sent as a light to the Gentiles, as the Old Testament tells us. The verses:

Isaiah 42:1-7
1: Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring
forth judgment to the Gentiles.
2: He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
3: A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
4: He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
5: Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that
which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:
6: I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of
the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
7: To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

Isaiah 49:6
6: And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved
of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Raymond, if Jesus didn't come as salvation to the Gentiles (he obviously did!), how would the Gentiles be saved?

Does a messenger of God qualify having the characteristics of being around before the world was?

You said:
According to the Bible, Jeremiah was as well.

My comments:
Is that right? Jeremiah knew of God before, and while he was in his mother's womb. Jeremiah celebrated in the glory of God, with God, before Jeremiah was born. Where is that in the bible? I think you're mistaken!

Please read and explain this verse:

"But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house ofIsrael"

Matthew 15:24
Why would Jesus (Pbuh) say he was only sent to the lost house of Israel?

Reading this verse alongside John 14:6 explains what he meant. All prophets said that they were the way for their people to God. For the Jews, it was Jesus.

Jesus (Pbuh) didn't say, "I am sent to all mankind" or "I am sent to the gentiles."

Look at what he tells his own disciples:

"Go not into the way of the Gentiles (non-Jews), and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand"
Matthew 10:5-7

I say:
Aren't we taken verses out of context. In some stories it might reference talking to the Jews only, but it does not certainly say that of the whole New Testament. As a matter of fact, some of the New Testament addresses addressing some messages to the Gentiles and some to the Jews. But does the New Testament, or Jesus specifically say some things I say about salvation apply only to the Jews or Gentiles? Does it say these messages only apply to one person or the other? Don't you see Raymond! Salvation is for all, Jew of Gentile. Not just Islam or Jew or Greek! It's for all! That's what the Isaiah verses references back too. God loves all of us, including you and Me!

Also, for someone who talks so much about taking verses out of context, aren't you guilty of your own crime? You see Raymond, we are sinners. We need to be forgiven. That's what Jesus is all about!

Isaiah 9:6
6: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Jesus fulfill's all of the prophecies of the Messiah in the Old Testament! He is Isaiah 9:6! Jesus makes the salvation message clear in the New Testament. Raymond get on your knees and pray for the truth with an open mind and an open heart... Steve
