Raymond, I am beginning to sound like a Muslim to you? Wow, then ALL true Christians are sounding like Muslims to you because we are taught NOT to care about this world ie: the things of this world. We are not to be OF this world but be IN this world. The afterlife is our hope and what all Christians should be looking forward to. If this is sounding Muslim than so be it but it is the foundation of belief in Christ. I never said that in the bible we are told to " relax and believe " however why should I expect you not to post my thoughts out of context if you have the guts to do it to the words of God? I believe in God and Jesus. Jesus came to save all and my wish would be for that to occur as that is the will of my Father. I believe because I have been blessed with belief. I can't explain it or rationalize it. But Raymond, don't tell me here that the bible does not instruct us to accept faith as a child. You know that it does and we are NOT to reason everything in the bible away. You once again are taking small verses out of context. But man, it must be hard on you as you plow through the bible trying to find minute inconsistencies, only to find such a presice and unfailing guide to everlasting peace. Enjoy and study the book Raymond.

I read your post again Raymond and I am confused as well. If you are going to use the bible to defend your position then you must hold it up to be of merit. So then you tell me, what do YOU BELIEVE? What part of the bible do you use in your life because you are quoting it back to me in defence of your position. I am very anxiously awaiting your explanation for relying on the bible for your argument but discounting many other aspects of the bible itself............................. waiting.......
