Just because they come from my district doesn't mean it isn't centralized. The Supreme Soviet was pretty much built the same way, and they were considered centralized.

Federalism is okay, as a political format. But the South was closer to the Federal ideal than the North. And I never claimed that the South wasn't at fault, in some way. They fired first. However, it was their land. They seceded in order to avoid war and set up their own government. DC was appalled at this turn of events, and sought to override the WILL OF THE PEOPLE of those states.
As for slavery, I never said it was a pretext of the war...I simply said the South was right about alot of things except slavery.
I suggest you reread my post. I already have my degree in Political Science, and I have read more than enough history to know what the events were.
