Did they have good earnings? I think insiders dumping is the way or both? Any know the reasons why a big jump? Just heard on Bloomberg.tv like rumor of AT&T and AOL shopping for internet firms then a chain reaction. Or some try to get out at the tops?

I just called Amazon's investor relationship today.
I talked to Karen Cho, Korean - I think, she told me that their earnings will be
announced on July 22, but they might change the date.
And we know darn well why.

YHOO earnings will be release on July 8, Wed.

The original planned date was July 8th. AMZN then changed it to the 22nd. Last quarter they released a day earlier than they stated.

To kill these Internet stocks, bad earnings are only way to go
now.

What earnings? I think that it will take slowing revenue growth,
no matter how bad the red ink, to bring these stocks down. Actually,
that may not do it, either. Anyone know what finally brought down
Iomega, Presstek and some of the other mania stocks? Was it just
the lack of the final "greater fool"?

Could you elaborate on your conversation w/ AMZN investor relations? Any particular impressions to share? (Haven't caught up with all the posts so ignore this if you already did)
