No I dont think so, Bovard is just from the 1990's, I think, e.g. "How the Govt screws you from A to Z" was just published in 1995.
I think "Lost Rights" is from 1991.
I could be wrong.
But it wasnt ages ago.

I liked it as a kid, but I was impressionable then.

I read it both as a kid and later as a college student. Read it again, and you may think differently about being as anti-communist as you seem to be.

It was Twain's intention to make the book look pleasing.
