You know, the people on this thread are the greatest bunch of investors on the Net. Every crazy thing in the world has tried to be done to our stock, and everybody's still here, excited about the company and looking forward to their visits to headquarters. The MM's do not have a chance. Just to provide more background about ALYA's products: OPENCentrix is the only fully LonWorks compatible security system on the market. Any company's control hardware can be integrated with it, providing it is also LonWorks compliant. Some other control vendors are beginning to provide LonWorks ports to enable their proprietary systems to be networked in. This is great for ALYA, but what is even better is that it makes OPENCentrix the system of choice for any new installation. If you go with a Centrix architecture, you are not locked into any specific hardware vendor -- though you might want to check out ALYA's own OPENLnd hardware, which is optimized for LonWorks and doesn't have to be connected through a potentially-flaky non-native interface. The company's major marketing efforts are focused around Centrix in the near term. The system is Y2k compliant which, in addition to all of its other functional advantages, makes the product frankly unbeatable. As more and more building owners become aware of the Millennium problem, and ALYA gains more exposure through Echelon and the private-labelling deals that are in the works, the existing sales projections are conservative, IMHO. And OPENCentrix is actually not the most interesting of ALYA's products. More on OPENCortex in a future post -- this seems like enough geekiness for one evening.
