Are you the same Tom D. who started this discussion? Sure feels lousy to be conned. I wrote a nasty note to Hambrecht and Quist today. I guess we've been had. There's a moral here somewhere. It's probably that you win some and you lose some.

I'm tempted to become a lead plaintiff in the Wolf Popper lawsuit. I'm going to call them in the morning. I usually think that most securities lawsuits are baloney--just legal extortion. Here, if the principals of the company traded shares, long or short, then we deserve to have their profits, and they deserve prison. Ignoring the silly ideas of honesty and integrity, there ARE rules.
