Selling Continues at the open: (10,700 shares)

Can't figure what is going on, other than fear of uncertainty...

TD, Can you or anyone remember back to last yr. when scop missed. What was it that happened right before. Didn't the CFO (whose name I have chosen to forget) meet w/analysts and make no comment about earnings or something of that nature. I just can't remember except remembering the stock dropped more after that meeting and it was because of her.

I'm specifically interested in one thing though. It's not a requirement that a company issue an earnings warning, is it? I know it can't be because it doesn't always happen otherwise there wouldn't be downside earnings surprises. Is there some reason everyone thinks vntv will issue one if there's a problem? I'm not saying that they won't but not sure why everyone assumes they will, if appropriate. If one knew for sure that they would if there was a problem, then vntv would be a good buy right about now. But if not, it could not be such a good thing. It might make more sense to buy some calls instead. They're pretty cheap right now. Plus, I just found out you can short against calls w/virtually no risk so there's upside either way. What do you think?
