I can tell you a number of laws that prevent me from getting what I want out of life. Ever lose a job or a job prospect due to quotas?
Ever want to make alterations to your home and have to face the local apparatchik who "approves" plans and blackmails you $xx for a license of approval?
These are 2 simple cases.
Ask an Hispanic who speaks English why his kid was put in a bilingual course...and forced to learn in Spanish.
Freeus is extreme...but NOT far from the truth, either. It's true, your turn just hasn't come yet.

repack up and live somewhere else
Thats the whole point. There is nowhere else. This was the only country set up for individual rights. Now there are none. Seems like just having one isnt asking too much.
Freeus

Matty

You're 20 per your profile, right?

How many years have you paid taxes?

Ever get drafted to fight in a war you considered immoral? Ever wanted to stop paying social security tax so you could take care of your own retirement? Ever had your property taken in an illegal search? Ever wanted to move to a state, the laws of which would not be overridden by Federal laws regarding education, term limits, takings of property by the Federal government? Ever been ground into dust IRS for being a tax protester?

Before you get too rhapsodic about the Federal government and the need to coerce people legally, you might want to talk to people who have been through all of the above. Then you wouldn't have to waste 15-20 years being a good little statist.

I know. I've been there. I suspect many of us on the thread have been there also.

Ciao, Daniel

PS.

As for moving elsewhere as you suggested to someone (i think it was freeus), why waste your time on wishy-washy state socialism in the US? Move to a "real" Socialist country like France, Canada or the worker's paradise of Cathay. Strong governments all.
