Don, If you look at ATI they are in all the mainstream systems. This is were S3 was 1 1/2 years ago. You have to introduce leading edge performance and then quickly get the product cost reduced for mainstream. S3 can succeed when they get this chip ready for the mainstream market because they have the fab capacity to manufacture the chips and deliver high volume. Most mainstream computers have graphics down on the motherboard and these designs are frozen now. That is why the best chance for the S3 Savage is with add in board manufacturers and OEM option upgrades. stockroach
