Ramsey Su,>This bear says worst not here yet. Any want to bet on AMAT meeting estimates this qtr?<

I just purchased 120 additional shares of amat at $29 on todays pull back. If it pulls back further I will purchase more. The Bull support line is at $28. If it breaks the support line then I expect it to fall lower that the $26. But, it does not look as if it will pull back below the support line.

Just my $.02.

Anyone can meet a revised estimate.(COMPANY REVISED DOWNWARD)
The problem is outlook looks bleak 18 months out. AMAT seems to be priced with a 2 qtr turnaround. That is not simply going to happen.
Just heard KLAC is looking for better signs back half 99 at earliest.
Anyway, how good could outlook be when company wide SHUTDOWNS are being implemented. Shutdowns mean NO SALES, NO PRODUCTS BEING MADE,etc... This translates into weaker qtr for AMAT.
