Jerome, if Seagate thought Eli was doing a poor job, he would be mailing out resumes. And I am certain that SEG has a far better idea of what's going on than either you or I. IMHO, we should wait for some hard facts before tossing out wild accusations. Only impatient or greedy investors call out the lawyers at the first sign of trouble.

The ultimate responsibility of management is to enhance long-term shareholder value ... measured in years not months. If, over five years, the stock goes from 20 to 40 to 10 to 50 ... that's a heck of a good return for those that bought and held. If it rises steadily from 10 to 20, you might be a lot happier with management but you might as well have bought T-bills.
