No kidding! He denied committing perjury, suborning perjury and obstructing justice. What a big surprise! (So did Nixon by the way.)
What else would you expect him to say? Either he lies or admits he's a felon. Given Monica's "proffer" and Bubba's refusal to give a clear explanation of the facts, he's obviously not telling the truth. The only question really is how many of the alleged offenses is he guilty of committing. JLA

lazzarre, A Socialist Democratic example???? I understand that she has spent many nights in the Lincoln Bedroom of the White house during Clinton's Presidency. I suspect that Hillary's socialist philosophy matches Jane's very closely. Shame on you for supporting such scum......remember, the socialists in Germany managed to get Hitler elected without a majority of the popular vote.

Profile of a traitor

Steve Allen
World Net Daily Exclusive Commentary

During World War II, the great poet Ezra Pound could be heard on Italy's shortwave broadcasts to North America, praising Hitler and Mussolini and criticizing the United States. When he flew home to the U.S. at the end of the war, he was arrested in anticipation of a trial for treason -- which never took place, because a panel of psychiatrists decided that he was not responsible for his actions during the war.

Whether Pound was actually mad, or the psychiatrists declared him insane only to save his life, is a question that has never been settled. But at least Pound paid a price for his support of tyranny; he spent almost 13 years at St. Elizabeth's, a mental hospital that later became known as the home-away-from-home of John Hinckley. In 1958, Pound was released from St. Elizabeth's on condition that he leave the country, and he spent the rest of his life in exile in Italy.

Twelve years after Pound's death, an event in Washington underscored how tolerant this nation had become to propagandists for the enemy.

It was a 1984 party at the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners building, a fundraiser for the Democratic Party's congressional candidates. Jane Fonda and her then-husband Tom Hayden (co-founder of the militia front group Students for a Democratic Society) auctioned themselves off -- $225 for a half-hour jog with Jane, $250 for a jog with Tom, $765 for a group breakfast with both, $155 for an autographed copy of one of Jane's exercise records. Auctioneer Jane herself spent $550 for a drawing by Los Angeles Times cartoonist Paul Conrad. Altogether, the party raised about $20,000.

As the Washington Post reported, "Out of the adoring crowd someone yelled, 'If the Democrats had six more like her, we wouldn't be in such trouble.' Fonda, in her best 'Make it burn!' voice, said, 'We're not in trouble. We're going to win!' . . . And the Fonda-lovers were ecstatic."

Of course, Jane Fonda's support didn't guarantee success. The Black Panther Party, which was trying to start a race war, did not survive long after Fonda endorsed it. The Reverend Jim Jones of the People's Temple and his followers committed suicide within a year after she told an interviewer that "the church I relate to most is called the People's Temple [which offers] a sense of what life is all about." And she was never able to push Tom Hayden any higher than the California state legislature; recently, after their divorce, he ran a weak race for mayor of Los Angeles.

Still, the Fonda endorsement did not seem to damage the communist cause in Southeast Asia.

In 1972, she was photographed sitting in the gunpointer's seat on a Russian aircraft cannon used to shoot down American pilots. On Radio Hanoi she declared, "We have a common enemy -- U.S. imperialism" and asked U.S. servicemen, "How does it feel to be used as pawns?" She expressed her solidarity with the North Vietnamese militia. "I cherish the memory of the blushing militia girls on the roof of their factory, encouraging one of their sisters as she sang a song praising the blue sky of Vietnam -- these women, who are so gentle and poetic, whose voices are so beautiful, but who, when American planes are bombing their city, become such good fighters."

President Nixon, she noted, was "a true killer" who, she predicted, would "never be able to turn Vietnam, north and south, into a neo-colony of the United States by bombing, by invading, by attacking in any way."

She described how she and a farmer's daughter huddled "wrapped in each other's arms, cheek to cheek" in a bomb shelter "while U.S. bombs fell nearby." It was quite a story, considering that the village was in an area that was not bombed while she was there. Fonda concluded by advising Nixon to read Vietnamese poetry, "particularly the poetry written by [North Vietnamese dictator] Ho Chi Minh."

Back in the USA, she described Air Force officers as "professional killers" and claimed that American POWs were treated kindly by their captors. She financially supported front groups for the radical left such as the Vietnam Veterans Against the War. When the prisoners returned home and told how they had been tortured, Fonda called them "hypocrites and liars." Fonda promoted conspiracy theories about U.S. forces using nerve gas, while ignoring the mass murders committed by her allies.

When the communists won the war, activists from Hayden and Fonda's Indochina Peace Campaign celebrated: "Ho Chi Minh, Madame Binh, PRG is marching in!" they chanted. (Binh was a top communist, and PRG was the Provisional Revolutionary Government.) The united Vietnam quickly became a police state of slave-labor and "re-education" camps. Meanwhile, the Fonda-backed Khmer Rouge slaughtered countless people who showed such signs of anti-communism as the wearing of eyeglasses. More Indochinese were killed in the first two years of "peace" than had been killed by all sides in the previous 13 years of war.

In 1975, Fonda named her son Troy, after communist hero Nguyen Van Troi, who had tried to assassinate of U.S. Defense Secretary Robert McNamara.

In 1979, when singer and fellow "anti-war" activist Joan Baez asked Fonda to join her in denouncing human rights violations by the communists, she indignantly refused. Baez, Fonda suggested, was a tool of the CIA.

In the years since the war, Fonda became one of the nation's most honored entertainers. She produced propaganda films such as "The China Syndrome," which helped cause the near-death of the nuclear power industry (consequently extending America's dependence on so-called fossil fuels). The political machine she and Hayden put together, the Campaign for Economic Democracy, was treated with respect by the media, scored a number of electoral victories, and got money not only from her exercise programs and movies but from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, the Ford Foundation, and the U.S. government under President Carter. Later, Fonda married a billionaire, media mogul Ted Turner, which immunized her from criticism in the establishment media. Who wanted to be blacklisted by Ted Turner of CNN (later Time-Warner/CNN)?

[Ironically, Fonda is not respected by former comrades such as Bernardine Dohrn, the terrorist turned Democratic Party activist. Chicago magazine reported in 1993 that Dohrn kept two newspaper photos taped side-by-side behind her desk, "one of Jane Fonda and one of [feminist] Germaine Greer. Dohrn said that she was struggling to come to terms with being 51. The newspaper pictures are to remind her to let herself age like Greer and not opt for plastic surgery like Fonda."]

Fonda is now active in the"population control" movement, which seeks to reduce the numbers of certain kinds of people in the world. To that effort, she brings a unique perspective. Despite her world travels, she seems to know little about the grinding poverty of the socialist Third World. In April, she told a United Nations forum that the state of Georgia, where she lives with Turner, is similar to "some developing nations." "In the northern part of Georgia, children are starving to death. People live in tar-paper shacks with no indoor plumbing, and so forth." Georgia Governor Zell Miller (D), a sometime ally of Fonda, called her comment "ridiculous," adding, "Maybe the view from your penthouse window is not as clear as it needs to be." Congressman Nathan Deal (R-Georgia) wondered aloud why Fonda's husband is giving $1 billion to the United Nations if there are children starving on the couple's doorstep.

In her recent remarks at the National Press Club, she was asked about population control programs in Red China, where women who try to give birth without government permission are held down screaming while their unborn children are killed. She said that people have to understand the situation in China. "They're having to import grain for the first -- well, I think in the last couple of years it was the beginning. You know what it means for China to have to import grain? Their needs are greater than everything that the United States could possibly give away. It's a very complicated issue."

Over the years, people have given up on their efforts to hold Fonda accountable for her actions against the people of Southeast Asia and the United States. She is another O.J. Everybody knows she is guilty, but there isn't much anyone could do about it.

In a sense, it is a measure of the greatness of America, that Americans do not fear a Jane Fonda. We are confident that, in the free marketplace of ideas, truth and reason eventually defeat fear and violence and hatred. But that does not mean we must show her the kind of respect we would show a decent person.

Psychiatrist Robert Coles noted that "a human being can be intellectually accomplished, talented as an artist or writer, and also be a moral and political dimwit." Yet those who use their gifts to support oppression may not be excused on the ground that they didn't know any better. Elie Wiesel, the expert on the Jewish tradition, said of Ezra Pound: "If you have the gifts, you have the responsibilities. The responsibility to be moral. . . . It is too easy to say that Pound did not mean it when he made his radio broadcasts. What do they mean, 'He didn't mean it'? He was on the side of the darkest forces."

If the Vietnam War were like World War II, and if Fonda, like Pound, had been deemed an artistic treasure that must be saved at all costs, she would have gotten out of St. Elizabeth's in 1985 or so. Upon her release, she would have been put on a plane to Vietnam, where she would have had plenty of time to consider the wisdom of her words. But then, if the Vietnam War were like World War II, Vietnam would be free; millions of Southeast Asians who have been murdered would be alive; and, instead of holding great power, those who supported a communist victory in the Vietnam War would count themselves blessed that they escaped the hangman's noose.

lazzare, here is more about your "queen" Hillary!!!!! Now, tell us what a "great" lady she is......HA!!!

HILLARY: WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE YOU?

Bringing Entertainment, News and Truth (BENT)
7-3-98 Doug from Upland

What must it be like to wake up every morning and wonder if this is the day when they will discover the truth?

What must it be like to think you are so important that you can treat regular people like they are worthless in private while you speak up for them in public?

What must it be like to sleep with your husband (if that even really occurs) and wonder where his weenie has been, what others have been doing with it, whether he used a condom and whether you might contract aids or another social disease?

What must it be like to be publicly humiliated by your husband and stand up for him in public over and over and over again?

What must it be like to not have had an active sex life since Vince's body was dumped in the park?

What must it be like to look people directly in the eye and lie to them?

What must it be like to know that your daughter views you as the Ice Queen?

What must it be like to have given up honor, intergrity, honesty, decency and your very soul for power?

It would be normal for people to sympathize with you for what your perverted philandering husband has done to his family. But you make it so difficult as a foul-mouth, prevaricating, document shredding, people using, justice obstructing and perjuring witch. You will have our compassion on the day you tell the truth when you have sworn an oath to God to do so. When you turn over documents that have been subpoenaed. When you pay back the illegal $100,000 from cattle futures. When you make restitution for Madison Guaranty. When you apologize to the troopers for swearing at them, demeaning them and forcing them to go buy your female products. When you publicly apologize to and ask for the forgiveness of Billy Dale. When you tell your friends to stop lying and covering up for you. When you stop trying to socialize America. When you are finally convicted and incarcerated.

Growing up in America I could never imagine actually hating the first lady of our land. I only dislike you because of your politics. I hate you for the evil person you are. Have a nice 4th of July.

>>Clinton said no to all of the above. You can't get much clearer than that.

Clinton also said he didn't inhale.

He also said he didn't use political influence to get out of the draft.

He also said he didn't have an affair with Jennifer Flowers.

He says a lot of things.

Do YOU belive them all??

Those federal judges make such wonderful decisions, right Lazarre?

Judge nullifies city's parade permit rule

By William F. Doherty, Globe Staff, 07/07/98

Ruling in favor of a white supremacist group barred from marching in Boston in 1994, a federal judge has struck down the city's ordinance on parade permits, saying it violates the First Amendment by giving officials too much discretion to deny permits based on the political views of the marchers.

US District Judge George A. O'Toole said that the city unfairly denied a request for Richard Barrett and his Mississippi-based Nationalist Movement to march in South Boston in March 1994. O'Toole said the reasons the city offered for denying the permit - traffic congestion and public safety concerns stemming from clashes with counterdemonstrators - were pretexts for keeping an offensive group off the streets.

''The nature and content of the Nationalist Movement's message was the predominant reason it was treated differently and had its permit request denied,'' the judge declared in a ruling issued last week. O'Toole added that ''city officials behaved like a latter-day Watch and Ward Society guarding against offensive political opinion.''

In a statement, the city law department said: ''We are reviewing the judge's decision. Over the next couple of days we will be plotting our course from there.''

City rules allow officials to reject parades that would disrupt traffic or require undue police protection. The Nationalist Movement, Boston officials reasoned, would attract opponents who might engage in clashes. Therefore, it was feared that the amount of police needed to protect people on both sides would leave other parts of the city unguarded.

O'Toole rejected those arguments, saying the rules gave city officials ''too much discretion without appropriate limits or standards.''

He entered a permanent injunction prohibiting the city from enforcing its parade regulations until they are rewritten to leave ''no leeway for content-based restrictions as to who ought to be permitted to march.''

By telephone from Learned, Miss., yesterday, Barrett called the ruling a victory for the ''majority.''

''It sends a powerful message that the era of favors and privileges for minorities is coming to an end,'' he said. ''It gives momentum to the pro-majority cause.''

Despite being denied a permit, Barrett marched anyway, following the sidewalk along Broadway and holding a rally in front of South Boston High School. Police separated a large crowd of counterdemonstrators from the handful of marchers.

Barrett chose Boston for his march after the city received national publicity because the annual St. Patrick's Day parade was canceled in a dispute over the participation of gays and lesbians.

O'Toole's ruling will have no effect on the St. Patrick's Day Parade. The US Supreme Court ruled in 1995 that the private organization running the parade cannot be denied a permit for excluding some groups.

In the case of the Nationalist Movement, O'Toole said, the city treated the supremacist group differently than others seeking permits under similar circumstances. The city has approved other marches in equally congested areas, he said. And at other times, police said they could handle any safety concerns posed by counterdemonstrators.

O'Toole awarded Barrett $700 in travel expenses he incurred fighting for the permit. The judge also said Barrett's attorney, Harvey Schwartz, should be entitled to recover his fees from the city.

The judge pointed out that Barrett's group prevailed by relying on legal tenets designed to protect minorities - the very people that Barrett's group opposes.

''Not insignificantly, much of the law that protects the plaintiff's rights here developed as a result of the courage of the pioneers of the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s,'' O'Toole said.

In a last-ditch attempt to avoid a confrontation, the city had tried to persuade Barrett to move his demonstration to City Hall Plaza or Boston Common, on the theory that those locations would provide a less-violent environment and be more conducive to crowd control. But O'Toole said yesterday that changing the location would have changed the character of the message.

Barrett had made it clear that he wanted to make his point by holding a parade on at least part of the route of the traditional St. Patrick's Day Parade.

O'Toole said, ''The anticipation of a hostile reaction does not permit the city to require that the plaintiff alter or muffle its intended expression any more than it permits the city to prohibit it.''

CLINTON'S OBSTRUCTION WORKING ALL TOO WELL

Excuse me, but I am going to have to vent here. You may not want to hear it, and I won't dwell on it for the entire show, not even for one measly half-hour. But this is coming off my chest. Call it therapy.

If you think that something has gone terribly wrong with our system of a "government of law," read on. If you think that Clinton is the best thing that ever happened to America, and that anyone with anything negative to say about that pathetic excuse for a statesman is "Clinton bashing," then don't read any further.

Damn it, I'm so frustrated by this situation I could tear up my voter registration card and say "the hell with all of you .. all of you who put this joke in office."

It's not just Monica Lewinsky. That's what his protectors would like you to believe. No, it's not just Monica. Who, after all, gives a big flying fornication (I told you I was going to vent) if Clinton did Monica or Monica did Clinton or if they just sat and watched nasty videos and didn't do anything. It's about honesty. It's about honoring our system of laws. It's about manipulation of the emotions of the American people.

No --- it didn't start with Lewinsky. Just look back to when Clinton was Governor of Arkansas. His wife was claiming a $2.50 deduction on income tax returns for every pair of used Clinton underpants That was just the beginning of Clinton's tax hijinks. On one occasion he claimed a huge deduction for interest paid on a loan --- one of the infamous Whitewater loans. The only problem was that it wasn't an interest payment, it was a payment of principal for which there was no deduction, and he isn't the one that made the payment. The payment was made by someone else on his behalf . yet he claimed the false deduction. Come on, folks. With anyone else, this is tax fraud or evasion. Clinton? Well all he did was to file an amended return when he got caught, and all was forgiven.

It didn't start with Lewinsky. What about the special favors done for special people while Clinton was the Arkansas governor? How about that former pilot for Tyson - the chicken people - who talked about flying envelopes filled with cash from the Tyson headquarters to Little Rock, to be delivered to Clinton.

The list is so long:

Vince Foster's unexplainable suicide. All those files that Linda Tripp saw being removed by Clinton henchmen from Foster's office before the police arrived.

Then there's those mysterious Rose Law Firm billing records. For two years congress had subpoenaed those documents. For two years Hillary and Bill said that they had no idea where those documents were. In fact, they said they didn't even exist! Then, alas, they show up in the Clinton's private living quarters, with Hillary's fingerprints and handwriting all over them. They were there all along! The Clinton's knew that they were there! They were just certain that nobody would ever find them. Come on,, my friends, that is pure obstruction of justice. They were caught red-handed, and most Americans don't give damn.

There's more. So much more. Selling the White House for campaign donations. White House coffees. Missile guidance and staging technology to the Chinese. Weakening American's defenses. And during it all . lie after lie after lie.

Then . there's Monica Lewinsky. No - it's not about sex. Again, it's about honesty. It's about lying under oath. It's about asking other people to lie under oath. It's about the very foundation of American law.

Do you remember when the story first came out? Clinton was shell-shocked. He needed time. He needed to find some way to lie and stonewall his way out of this one. So, what to do?

Well, his immediate task is to appear statesmanlike. He says that the American people deserve to know the truth, and that would get the truth sooner rather than later. He was lying. He knew it, and we should have known it. He was stalling . stalling for precious time. He needed to put a spin on this whole Lewinsky mess .. and he needed a few weeks to do it. So, promise the truth . but not just yet.

Then we get the spin underway. Have your attack roach James Carville declare a "war on Kenneth Starr." Starr, after all, is the enemy. Clinton has committed crimes. Starr is the one person out there charged with the responsibility of uncovering those crimes and reporting on them to Congress. The obvious tactic, attack Starr. Obstruct and attack. Delay and attack. Deny and attack. Always on the attack.

Clinton knew that his supporters were out there just waiting for their marching orders. Those orders were delivered through Carville.

Clinton sat back and watched. He watched so-called "journalists" like Dan Rather say time after time after time that Kenneth Starr's investigation was "into Clinton's sex life." Clinton saw these newscasts, and he smiled. He knew his tactic was working. Working better than ever dreamed.

Carville and Emanuel kept yapping like the lap dogs that they are, and the news media kept lapping it up and feeding it to the American people.

Ken Starr is out of control! Ken Starr is investigating Clinton's private sex life! Someone needs to stop Ken Starr! Ken Starr is using Gestapo tactics. Ken Starr is conducting a partisan investigation. Ken Starr has spend $40 million dollars and has nothing to show for it. Ken Starr needs to go away and just let poor Bill Clinton do the job that the American people hired him to don.

And Clinton just sat back and smiled. It was working. Working so well. People were writing letters to the editors demanding that Ken Starr stop his partisan investigation. People were expressing their outrage at Starr's investigation into Clinton's private sex life.

Meanwhile - the legal proceedings went on. We learned that Clinton was lying when he said that he hadn't had an affair with Gennifer Flowers. It' didn't matter, though, because that fact came to light through the efforts of Ken Starr, and Starr, as we were constantly reminded, was out of control.

Clinton's obstruction intensified. He claimed executive privilege. Secret service privilege. Every possible obstruction. And each and every time a Federal Court struck him down. None of it mattered.

The objective was clear. Build public hatred of Kenneth Starr while continuing to obstruct and refuse to cooperate with the investigation. The primary goal was to delay this matter past the November elections. If the voters learned the truth about Clinton (as if they don't already know the truth) before the elections it might mean that the Democrats would take a hit in the elections. That would give the Republicans more strength from which to launch further inquiries or an impeachment action. If the lies work, however, the idiot voters in this country might be persuaded to put more Democrats into the House of Representatives. That would make Clinton resignation and impeachment proof.

It gradually became clear to Clinton that he really didn't need to keep his promise to tell the American people the nature of his relationship with Ken Starr. The people, prodded by network news anchors and sympathetic newspaper editorials, were rallying to his defense! He hadn't even told his side of the story, and they were siding with him and his spinmasters against Starr.

The latest? Well, Bill Clinton has now made it clear that he doesn't intend to say anything more about his relationship with Lewinsky. Period. He is not going to tell the American public what happened, and he is going to refuse to testify before Kenneth Starr's grand jury. His "Starr is out of control" spin has worked so well that he can now take ultimate advantage. He can refuse to testify and refuse to cooperate with the investigation because, as everybody knows, Kenneth Starr is out of control and can't be trusted. All that's left to be done is to get those Democrats elected to the House.

If the American people were awake they might well be asking the question "Well, Mr. Clinton, if Starr is out of control, if he's crossed the line so badly, why don't you just fire him? Why don't you just get rid of him and get another special prosecutor that will handle his responsibilities more fairly?"

The answer? Clinton knows that Starr isn't out of control. In fact, Clinton knows that Starr has been doing his job, and doing it well. He has been steadily and carefully gathering and compiling the evidence, in spite of Clinton's obstruction.

Every American with an appreciation of our justice system and the rule of law ought to be absolutely outraged. That, however, takes integrity and a sense of the different between right and wrong.

Says he won't respond to Kenneth Starr because he thinks Starr is conducting a biased and partisan investigation. Well, dammit, FIRE HIM!

Clinton is relying on the stupidity of the American people and his ability to manipulate them. For him, it seems like a safe bet.

This man is the most fundamentally dishonest and corrupt person ever to hold the office of the presidency. He is a liar and, in the vernacular of the North Carolina mountains, a "whore dog."

Clinton is a canker sore on the face of American history. He should be reviled for his misdeeds --- instead, he is praised. In so-doing, this disgusting, power-hungry politician is doing harm --- perhaps irreparable harm --- to the very legal foundation of this Country. History will judge him harshly, even if today's so-called "citizens" don't.

How can one witness this tragic situation and have hope for the future of America?

DRUDGE REPORT
By Matt Drudge
Mon Jul 07 1998 01:30:26 UTC

LEWINSKY WAS JEALOUS OF OTHER WHITE HOUSE WOMAN

**World Exclusive**

"I wonder if he moves the curtain so the sun shines on her hair?" Monica Lewinsky said to a friend one evening in a shocking intimate conversation.

The former White House intern was showing her jealous side, concerned that President Bill Clinton was having sex with another White House staffer -- a staffer she knew had "private time" with the president in the Oval Office on a regular basis!

The stunning blond [she reportedly had 20 minutes alone with President Clinton every morning between 9:00 and 9:20 am] has since been transferred out of the White House.

But according to case intelligence, the former employee has been the subject of recent grand jury testimony in Ken Starr's ongoing probe.

"It was the summer of 1994 and Hillary was out of town when I saw her with President Clinton," a witness has told the grand jury.

But the "her" was not Lewinsky!

The blond staffer will not be named in this report, but key players involved in the situation have grown convinced that her identity will become public as the case develops.

"Monica Lewinsky saw [her] as direct competition," a source close to the situation told the DRUDGE REPORT in Washington.

"Clinton met the woman long before he met Monica Lewinsky. He even got her a job working close to him in the west wing. It drove Monica crazy."

"Monica could not deal with Bill Clinton having intimate relationships with other women," said the source. "It was eating her up inside.

"She would go on and on about other women she suspected of having time alone with the president. One was even a family member of a former VP."

Lewinsky names various women in conversations caught on tape.

Two are still employed at the White House, both in created positions.
