Boob,
Still no reply from your mysterious emailer? Not a good sign. He could at least write back to you and confirm that he has no more information. Question: Was he aware that you were going to post his email on an SI thread? Maybe you were set up and Mr. Emailer had bought low before emailing you and was thrilled that you posted his email for all to see?

Ah, well, that's the dark side of the equation. If some news comes out in the next couple of days, we'll know it was all for real and doubts will fade fast.

Anyway, here's a little more research for all the thread to see:
I called the Tulsa Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce this morning to get a phone number for Benefund. (We know from one of the previous posts that Benefund was located there some years ago). The Chamber of Commerce did have a number and address, but said that Benefund was no longer a member of the chamber. Benefund was a member from February 1991 to January 1996.
The Benefund number was: (918) 254-5123
and the address: 8118 East 63rd Street, Tulsa, OK 74133

I called the number and got a recording saying that the number was no longer in use.

The Chamber of Commerce recommended that I call the Business Technology Reference Department in Tulsa if I didn't get the info I wanted. I did call this Business Technology Reference Department and explained to them what I was doing, how I was a stock investor looking to confirm Internet rumors about Benefund, etc., etc. They said they would research Benefund for me and I should call back in two hours (!). Maybe they'll come across a forwarding address or phone number, who knows?

I'll keep the thread posted...

Chris
