I saw that and it didn't make a lot of sense to me. They have Microsoft missing by 4 cents. I doubt very much that that will happen and it isn't consistent with any previous history. I don't believe Microsoft has ever missed, but I guess anything's possible.

This is also the first time I've ever seen published whisper numbers. What are your thoughts on this?

This interesting excerpt from INTC post concerning the new Xeon multiprocessor system and its impact on NT: "Basically, Windows NT scaling has improved by 40 to 50 percent overnight because of new systems based on the processors. With 2MB of Level 2 cache...."

This will help them out considerably in fielding scalability objections until NT5 rolls out.
